Buy, sell, or build

Whichever side of the deal you are on, here is how it works

Buying, selling, and new construction each move at their own pace. Below is a plain walk-through of each one, plus a quick way to get a home value estimate or ask a question.

How buying usually goes

  1. Talk about needs and budget

We start with a conversation about where you want to live, what the home needs to have, and what a comfortable monthly payment looks like.

  2. Get pre-approved with a lender of your choice

A pre-approval letter from a mortgage lender tells sellers you are ready to move and sets a real price range. You are free to choose any lender.

  3. Tour homes

We schedule showings for homes that fit your criteria and talk through what you see at each one.

  4. Write an offer

When you find the right home, we put together an offer and negotiate price, terms, and timing on your behalf.

  5. Inspection, appraisal, and closing

Once an offer is accepted, we work through inspection, appraisal, and paperwork with you up to closing day.

A note on buyer representation. In today's market, Indiana brokers are generally required to have a signed buyer representation agreement in place before touring homes with you. We will walk you through what that agreement covers before any showing.
